new vid yo!

Posted my new video last inght, yay! I love the huge list of ‘new comment on your video’ emails that youtube love to spam you with =) Although to make it clear, when i say ’spam’ i dont mean i dont ENJOY receiving them, emails from youtube are awesome (unless they are those ’some bastard has sent you a video’ or ‘BlatentStalker003 has added you as a friend’ ones, they piss me off lol)

From my new video i have discovered something about youtube videos, this is it: the more stuff you talk about in your vlog, the longer the comments you get. Its been great! people have been leaving me huge paragraphs as their comments to make sure they comment on every little thing i’ve mentioned in the video! I love getting + reading comments and the worst thing is getting a new comment and then it just being ‘lol, nice vid’ or ‘i say scown’ So i loved getting these massive comments.

I think im getting better at the whole vlogging thing too now, i feel more normal talking to a camera so i can be more confident and also i dont need to edit my videos as much. Hopefully i can get some more of these half decent videos done so i can set some of the old crappy ones to private.

Title of this blog is inspired by the fact that i am currently in Edds stickam and we are discussing and listening to a bit of rap =D fun times

Woooow! im in SUCH a good mood, i think the main cause of this is the fact that iv been listening to jason mraz almost solidly for about 4 hours (since 8pm) Its amazing!

Being in a mood like this is amazing! im loving EVERYTHING and im just generally happy! I have 5 exams coming up in 2 days but im not stressing out, im not worried, i feel great! xD

Im still listening to jason mraz right now btw, when it stops the mood wears off a bit (but only a bit, im still in an awesome mood! yay =)

Not really a blog about anything, i thought id just write something positive cus i feel so good and also i’ve found that i like venting through just typing out my train of thought (or maybe its trail of thought, who cares?)

Because of this iv made myself a separate blog which i wont be telling ANYONE i know about with a more anonymous user name where basically I’m just gonna write about my feelings at the time. Could possibly sound a bit emo but hey, there WILL be happy stuff in there too, i suppose its just nice writing down my thoughts for myself, feels good getting it out there even if its not gonna get read. (i could write in on paper but fuck paper, i hate hand writing stuff) why am i telling you guys this? sorry to anyone who now really wants to find my other blog/diary thing, if it makes you feel any better im pretty sure the stuff i’ll write on there will not interest or entertain you lol.

Nic’s exam revision lifestyle ramble

Hello people who read this and possibly future me!

This is going to be another rather pointless blog but iv just read a blog written by a lovely wee scottish lass called Mhairi and i thought ‘you know what? IM going to write a blog post right now’ then i came to wordpress, signed in (pfft) and started writing stuff, which leads up to now.

Finished a block of 5(ish) exams yesterday which is always nice, so i have a nice gap until my next exam on wednesday.. unfortunately a lot of revising will need to take place during this time but its all good, im more than half way now and it feels good so im just staying possitive and living for those moments after exams haha. Felt good to finish english FOREVER yesterday (or thursday, but im gonna write this as if its still friday from now on ok?)

Today i rejected having a huge lie in and instead decided to go into school and revise until about 3:30. ‘Nic, why would you do such a thing? revision is boring as hell!’ Heres the reason (it will probably involve me seeming like a crazy but heres my reasoning anyway):

When i stay home on days with no exams and have nothing to do heres roughly what happens, wake up about 10:30, only fully awake by about 11:00 due to lack of motivation to do anything. Watch tv till about 12:00 lazily, turn pc on, get hooked into everything ever on the internet for a while till about 1 or 2 when i have lunch, after lunch try to start some revision but get bored and go back on pc then, continue on for the day having this horrible feeling that i should be revisiong but not having the will power to do anything about it. At about 6 or 7:00 i finally try to get something done but this usually only lasts for about an hour. At the end of the day i look back and see that iv done fuck all and iv wasted yet another day of potential studying and feel shit about it, also feel more pressure to work hard all day the next day.

Now heres what happens when i go to school, this is much simpler: wake up at either 7:00 and get a lift in with my brother, or wake up at about 9:00 and get the train to school.. im a fan of lie-ins so 9:00 it is.. get to school at about 10:15 (train is 9:45) go to library, get some real revision done due to no distractions and nothing better to do till about 12:20 (at 12:20 lunch for the whole school starts, therefore annoying lower years flood the library so theres no chance of getting any work done in there) and just have a break for the rest of lunch time. Then i go back to the library at 1:30ish (which is when exams start for people who are in school to do exams and also lunch time for everyone else ends) and revise till 3:30 and get a lift home with my brother. After that its like 4:00 and iv dont shit loads of revision, i feel tired but happy with how much iv done and i have the whole rest of the day to do whatever the fuck a want without feeling that i should be donig work… mint.

#So yeah, thats the long winded way of explaining why i do that… although when i get asked why i came in voluntarily by the poeple who DO have exams on the day i just say something along the lines of ‘cus at home i wouldnt get any wont done and i need to’ … i should of just put that in my blog… im gonna put a warning at the top of this post about that xD

I cant think of anything else to put in this at the moment but its long enough as it is tbh so yeah, have a nice day…

I got bitten last night twice on my wrist and its itchy, i don’t even know what the fuck did it, i didn’t know bugs in England could bite!

Serious stuff

JUST KIDDING! maybe one day i will make a blog containing serious thoughts n shiz but today is not that day, instead im gonig to write what i can only assume will involve the usual rambly stuff where i type the first word that comes into my head repeatedly therefore making sentances… also probably using a LOT of badly placed commas.. Iv notice that about my writing, i put fucking commas everywhere, iv come to accept this and so should you, so no more comma talk from now on.

Ok, first thing (and only thing that a know of, although with these blog what usually happens is i keep thinking of more things to say for a while) is i went to a party last night, and stayed over at the guys house with a few more people. Notice the lack of the word ’sleep’ in that sentance… I could say loads of stuff but im not in much of a typing mood, so ill get straight to the point: we watched EVERY SINGLE pokemon movie in existance back to back except for one which he didnt have.

…so yeah, my mind is pretty much FULL of pokemon at the moment but it was worth it for the experience. We also watched a movie called ‘white men cant jump’ It was about a white man who couldnt jump… Ok that was a lie, it was about basket ball and… stuff. Twas pretty good though.

It appears that i’ve run out of things to say… to spellcheck or not to spellcheck? Im going to go for the latter, that way you can turn it into a game of ‘who can find the most typos’. Trust me, it will be amazing.

OH YEAH! i forgot something, but i dont really like deleting stuff, i prefer my words to be in the order i thought of them (well, in this blog anyway). I made a vlog the other day about the pokemon games and stuff but its looking pretty shit so i might not post it, so look forward to that, but only a little bit because theres about a 84.3% chance i wont edit/post it.

Things n stuff…

Yay exams have started! So far I’ve done both maths papers and english lit, so basically my strongest subject and my weakest one. Maths was pretty damn easy to be honest, had a few tricky parts to it but generally it was ok. English lit was horrible, i suck at english when the question options are easy.. these ones were shit, i think i’ve done ok though, hopefully enough to keep it at a B or better (but obv not better…)

I have 2 biology papers tomorrow, strangely enough they are papers 2 and 3… paper 1 is fucking ages away, which is the same for all of the sciences which is slightly odd but it put less pressure on me later as paper 1 tends to be easyer, so tis all good.

After that iv got half term, so no exams for 10 days or something =) unfortunately iv done very little revision for most other subjects so a lot of time will need to be spent doing some hardcore revision… i hate hardcore revision, sure you can put hardcore in front of it and it sounds good but its really just revision but worse…

In other news iv noticed that i get a lot of good comments on my animationy type vids so im thinking ill probably re-release a stop motion video i made a while ago before i started ‘youtubing’, its a little bit lame cus its done with lego, but i really like the animation and generally its pretty damn good for a first stop motion video (yep, it was my first stop motion video apart from some short 5 second test type things to get used to it but dont worry, im a perfectionist when it comes to animation so its not one of those ‘lulz, i mayde a stp motin vidyo!’ video)

ALSO! starting stop motion animation was the reason i got my webcam, so without that little event happening i wouldnt be able to make vids on youtube and i’d just be lurking sending fanboy mail to people… although if im honest im still a bit of a fanboy, especially with the people i dont know so well xD

WOAH, i just found the word counter, it increases as i write words, this is amazing… woah

Ok i think its clear that i’ve run out of things to say eventually, so ill leave you with this, im listening to music by a guy called stephen lynch and its fucking hilarious, i have 3 of his albums, its awesome. Worth a listen, go! do it now! theres loads of him on youtube i think.

FINALLY i got my ds today =) and a thingy called a ‘cycloDS’ which lets you download games for free and put music and stuff on your ds which is… less useful. Im not sure what made me decide to get a DS but i just felt the urge to get one a few weeks ago and when i found out that if i got the cycloDS i wouldn’t even have to spend any more than the £40 on games it just drove me even more to get it.

So yeah, thats £140 gone but to a good cause IMO

In other news i saw the movie ‘21′ today, it has gained the nonja seal of approval so go and watch it, its awesome.

My left earphone isnt working, this angers me.

Oh and, if you didn’t get it, the title was a reference to that video of the kids getting an N64 for Christmas and going crazy, as youtubey people id expect you to know that though =P

Weird Night…

Thursday night was weird for me, read on to find out why!

Ok, so thursday afternoon i get home feeling pretty tired, i watch tv for an hour then ended up falling asleep in front of the tv. A little while later i get woken up by my mum to eat dinner, i have absolutely no appetite so i eat nothing. Then i go back upstairs, start to do some revision then change my mind and go lie on my bed then fall asleep. THEN i wake up at 9:00 with no idea where the fuck i am and what time/day it is etc xD then i go back to sleep and wake up the next day.

Weird eh?

Just thought id write that here, it seemed pretty blog-worthy.

It sure is nice on this bandwagon

As you can see i jumped on the bandwagon of starting blogs. I’m not sure quite what content i will be putting here. It will either be more personal stuff in which case i wont advertise it to people and it will just be somewhere to write, Or it will be an average blog containing stuff about youtube etc.

Actually while typing that I’ve decided to go for the latter. I probably wont do these very frequently, just when i feel like writing, which i imagine is what a lot of people do with their blogs.

I cant really think of much else to add to this today, this was just an opening introduction thing xD

Oh yeah, I’m aware that my grammar etc is terrible so that probably wont help with the whole blogging thing but I’ll try my best.
